Hull and East Yorkshire Mind has been successful in winning a contract with Hull City Council to support local people with their housing. The new contract includes short term supported accommodation for adults with complex mental health problems as well as supported accommodation for vulnerable young people.

Hull and East Yorkshire Mind has long supported people with their housing needs, and this new contract enables us to continue that work, and to find new ways to support people to become more independent and improve their health and wellbeing.

David Smith, Chief Executive at Hull and East Yorkshire Mind said, “Housing is fundamental to good mental health, and at Hull and East Yorkshire Mind we are passionate about supporting people to be able to live the lives they want to and to live more independently. This new funding from Hull City Council will enable us to support adults and young people in Hull to have a safe space to call home to help them to recover and move on to live more independently in the future.”
