Hull and East Yorkshire Mind, in partnership with Northern is proud to launch Platform 4 Change competition at Bridlington Train Station.
Bridlington train station is a lovely Grade II listed building which has beautiful features. However, Platform 4 needs a bit of a facelift and we are inviting entrants to produce a piece of artwork that will be enlarged to fit the area (approx. 3m x 3.8m). Submitted pieces need to be 2D and a suitable format which can be digitally enlarged.
The piece of art will be visible from across the tracks and is ‘framed’ by an archway, we really recommend interested artists come and view the area or at least view the photos in this blog.
The brief for the piece of art is to make a positive statement about Bridlington and mental health. How you interpret that is up to you.
There is also a prize of £500 for the winning piece and a winners event at which the winning piece will be unveiled.
