Managing the effects of the menopause at work is important for both employers and their staff.

For those experiencing symptoms it can be a difficult and stressful time. Everyone will experience the menopause differently and for some, symptoms can be quite severe and can affect people both physically and mentally.

It’s important for employers to be aware of all of the people who might go through the menopause and menopause symptoms and to support them all equally. That’s where we can help.

A 3 hour course, this session aims to demystify menopause, interventions and treatments.  Raising awareness and creating a culture of openness in order for individuals to talk about menopause and make informed choices.

The MECC for Menopause Module has two main aims:

  • To raise awareness of menopause and its impact on health and wellbeing, building confidence to have menopause conversations with women who access services.
  • To build confidence within occupational and workplace settings for colleagues (at all levels) to have menopause conversations, creating a culture of awareness and understanding. This is reflected in the ‘takeaway actions’ from participants.
