Employability Wellbeing Service [B]
As part of our Step Change programme, we can support individuals who are employed a range of free mental health related qualifications. These qualifications are delivered online and are completely free of charge through our partnership with a training provider. They are self-paced and can be completed at a time that is convenient for you.
The qualifications are designed to be accessible to everyone, regardless of if you have any previous experience with mental health. They are designed to provide you with the necessary tools and strategies to support your own mental health, and the mental health and wellbeing of others.
Some of the Level 2 qualifications you can access include:
- Awareness of mental health problems
- Mental health first aid & mental health advocacy in the workplace
- Understanding children and young people’s mental health
- Mental health in the early years
- Certificate in counselling skills
Local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) can access these qualifications for their employees – as long as they employ under 250 staff members. Belong to an organisation who employ more than 250 employees? Don’t worry – you can still access these qualifications – all you need to do is register online via our website.
We can also offer a range of resources and one to one employment and mental health support and guidance to help you along the way, should you need it.
If you are interested in learning more about these qualifications or want to sign up, please complete the form below.
SMEs can access support from specialist consultants, who will improve their training, policies and procedures to create a workplace culture where mental health and wellbeing are valued and supported.
This programme is supported and delivered by Hull City Council, the Humber Teaching NHS Foundation Trust and Hull and East Yorkshire Mind.
